It wants to be in balance.This fascination has lead me to become a Yoga teacher and Reflexology Therapist. Both these modalities help you re-establish a mind body connection.
Yoga unites movement with breath, this directly affects the nervous system, improves circulation, builds strength and flexibility and will leave you with a general sense of wellbeing. Yoga is a non impact activity safe for every body.
Reflexology is the study of reflexes.
Reflexes are clusters of nervous tissue located throughout the body, especially in the hand, feet, and ears. Reflex points are directly connected through the Peripheral Nervous System to specific parts, organs, and glands of the body. Stimulating reflex points relieves tension, improves circulation, and promotes balance to all the systems of the body.
I am a Registered Canadian Reflexology Therapist (RCRT) and Yoga teacher, based in Vernon B.C. Offering both foot and hand treatments. I currently practice reflexology at Arise Wellness.
